Hugh is a second-generation Houston trial lawyer, following in the footsteps of his father, Hugh “Pete” Jones Plummer, whose legal career spanned more than four decades. Growing up around the legal profession taught him that successful representation is built on preparation, integrity, and trust — values that continue to define The Plummer Law Firm today.

Early in his career, Hugh interned with the First Court of Appeals of Texas, competed on South Texas College of Law’s nationally recognized varsity mock trial team, practiced civil defense litigation, and later joined his father’s practice before establishing his own firm.

These experiences gave him a unique understanding of litigation from multiple perspectives, allowing him to develop strategies that are practical, efficient, and focused on achieving meaningful results.

What distinguishes Hugh from many attorneys is the breadth of his professional experience.
